Well it's time for me to give this a whirl....
As to how to Tahoe drives? Pretty good really. I don't have that harsh feel I always had when cranked the daylights out of my torsion keys to level it with the back. I absorb bumps a bit better, but where I really notice it is during turns or passing in the highway. I really can't explain it...- chevrol8t

Will be doing the '19-'21 Big brake upgrade on my '00 Tahoe.
Very good question. I guess I would have to eat the loss. just the brakes alone I am about $200.00 in for the set. I'm not saying $200 is nothing to sneeze at but it could be worse. for the results (at least for me) it's worth it.- chevrol8t

Anyone with a Champion radiator and using Dexcool?
Just updating folks. So far no issues (as I figured...or hoped ;)). All is well and I figured as long as maintain normal coolant changes I should be fine.- chevrol8t

Will be doing the '19-'21 Big brake upgrade on my '00 Tahoe.
Just a quick update. Brakes are still great...however I just found out that my master cylinder is leaking from around the edges (because I'm lucky that way) fortunately It's no big drama to replace other than fluids and bleeding. Will get around to that very soon. Will I still do Hydro-boost...- chevrol8t

Sorry for the late update everyone. Crazy busy at work, rebuilt my computer and had a fun bout with Kidney stones (ouch!) Anyway. Transmission is doing fine! closing in on 3k miles (should have been there a while ago but with gas prices I have been alternating between the Tahoe and my little...- chevrol8t

Ok, I got the radiator installed on Monday evening (in between badly timed calls from work). One thing I can confirm from one of the reviewers on Jegs who purchased this rad is that you do have to trim your radiator (if you have factory electric) to get it to fit on the new rad. Anyone with a Champion radiator and using Dexcool?
I was checking out some other forums about this and it seems there are some who are running DEXCOOL with their aluminum rads. It seems the consensus was as long as you maintain your coolant change you should be fine. I think I will take one for the team here and be the guinea pig.- chevrol8t

I ordered a 3 row aluminum radiator from Champion radiators. To my surprise after getting the rad yesterday, outside on the box it says to only use "Ethyl glycol "The green stuff" in regards to coolant choice. Well I use use Dexcool (with no issues). I swear these things are turning into one heck of a hunt. I don't get why GM got away from these? I went to see what type they are using now and the new calipers are smaller two piston. Maybe it's a money saving thing for the company?- chevrol8t

No problem! I wish I knew about this sooner. I love my ride but I always feared a panic stop as I knew braking was less then ideal. I will be replacing the rears this weekend as they are still factory. I will be replacing them with OEM factory, I just want the old ones gone.- chevrol8t
