Lowered suspension still has a lean

Just replaced both struts with belltechs. Lowered the passenger side an inch and left driver stock and put the 1” drop spring on the driver to match the passenger side. Driver is still 1” lower. Current drop should be 3” on driver and 4” on passenger side. I’ll have to go another inch lower on...

Lowered suspension still has a lean

Springs are seated right. I trimmed a little off the passenger coil and it dropped it to near even but the driver 5100 is still one notch above stock. I didn’t like how the strut mount set on the cut spring so I ordered a set of 1” maxtrac coils and they sit stock height on the passenger side...

Lowered suspension still has a lean

I have one but haven’t put it on yet. The lean is really in the front. Back is pretty close. Not sure how I can get another nice drop out of the passenger side.

Lowered suspension still has a lean

I have an 09 avalanche 4x4. I lowered the bilstein 5100 to the bottom notch and installed 2” max trac drop spindles and 3-4” rear belltech drop springs. Right now I have a bad lean to the driver size. I raised up the 5100 a notch on the driver size and I still have also a 1” higher gap on the...

    2009 5.3/6l80 swap to 2011 L94 6.2/6l80

I have a 2009 avalanche (dod/non-vvt) with a 6l80 that I will be looking to swap in a 2011 L94 and 6l80 trans. I know the TCM will not talk with my current 09 ECM but can I use the computer from the 2011 and reprogram it to my vin? I will be doing a cam swap removing dod and vvt from the 6.2...

Wheel Speed Sensor / ABS Issue

I purchased a new code reader that will read abs codes as well. It also shows live data. Code is popping up for the driver front sensor. When I view data for all 4 it is the only one not reading a speed. When I ohm the sensor it comes back good. I’ve crossed the splice both ways and even cleaned...

Wheel Speed Sensor / ABS Issue

It’s not communicating. Either due to the connection at the abs module or the module itself. I’m wondering if a short in three wire fried just that circuit for the driver front sensor.

Wheel Speed Sensor / ABS Issue

I must have been half asleep last night when I responded. I checked the ohm right past that connector and it read good. I haven’t jacked it up and spun the wheel to check the voltage... but it’s looking like abs module or possibly too much resistance in the splices to read.

Wheel Speed Sensor / ABS Issue

I didn’t even think to check that connection. I checked the sensor and it ohm is perfect but it’s still not reading. I ran a new line straight to the abs module and still nothing. I’m going to check that plug and verify the pin didn’t come out any. The plug at the module is good tho.

Wheel Speed Sensor / ABS Issue

I’m worried it’s probably more than a bad sensor. I’m going to ohm it and see what it reads. My scan tool lets me read the sensor bolts when they move. I get readings from all but that one.

Wheel Speed Sensor / ABS Issue

I’m going to check resistance on it with my meter when I get home today. It could very well be how they connected it. If the sensors reads good then I’ll probably run a new set of wires and solder/shrink wrap them. This is a new sensor from local parts house. Just didn’t know if the module could...

Wheel Speed Sensor / ABS Issue

So I just recently picked up a lifted 2010 suburban. Abs/traction/stability light was on and put my reader and it showed a left front wheel sensor bad. Fast forward to this weekend and I replaced the sensor keeping the previous spacer that was there. The hub is a few months old and appears to be...

Best Front Strut set up for 6-7” lift

I went with the eibachs up front with it set on the 2nd clip. Rides amazing. Also put a 1/2” spacer on the driver side to correct the chevy lean. Fox’s on the back are doing great as well. I threw a 1” spacer there to keep a little rake. Tires are 35’s but about half worn so that’s probably why...

Best Front Strut set up for 6-7” lift

I went ahead and order the eibachs for the front thru summit. Only 35$ for next day air so I can put them on tomorrow. Only thing I don’t know for sure is will I have to remove my stock lower coil mount or will the new shock come with one. It’s in the picture but that means nothing lol. I...

Best Front Strut set up for 6-7” lift

After closer inspection I have a 6.5” super lift kit. Atleast that’s what all the rear brackets look identical to. I did order rest fox 4-6” shocks and noticed that I do have extended shock brackets so I could have gotten a regular set of bilsteins for a little less but as big and heavy as it is...
