Transmission w/ cooler overheating
Maybe someone can help me out here because I'm about lost. I have an 07 Tahoe with the aux trans cooler installed. Never any issues until about 2 weeks ago the trans starts getting hot. Engine ticking, GM ticking me off!
OP , I will tell you I have experienced the exact same thing within the last 2 weeks. It ended up being the oil pump or the o-ring which connect the pickup tube assembly to the pump but I replaced both and now I'm back to normal. What led me to this is I had a ticking just like you. Yes I am running high mileage synthetic. I also had never added an additive before until now. Going to look into the WIX filter. Always used Mobil1 filter and oil. How does that Valvoline perform? No AFM. If it is the lifter I'll change it at home. Never even thought about the oil...- bvilchez

A/C vent in 2nd Row
Had the same issue. Took it to the dealer since I considered it an A/C issue and they said it was because of the exterior color of my Tahoe (black) and the heat. Where do you fill up?
