What's needed to fit a 4l65 tranny to my 99 Tahoe
My fluid levels are in the norm, I did a fluid and filter change a week ago to see if it would help but it did not, I just reset the computer this past weekend and it seemed to help, I can no longer see the rpms jump or hear much abnormal rpm shifts from the engine so I'm hoping that helped it...- btewalt10

What's needed to fit a 4l65 tranny to my 99 Tahoe
I'm pretty sure it's the torque converter because it's slipping a little bit going 55+ and it just started after I replaced the radiator, I know it's crazy.- btewalt10

What's needed to fit a 4l65 tranny to my 99 Tahoe
I need some help! My tranny is going bad and I'm wanting to put a 4l65 tranny from a newer one in it, what all do I need to do. I've researched a little bit but I cannot find a definitive answer, I've heard all I need is a flex plate spacer to it'll bolt right up plug and play. I'm hoping you...- btewalt10

Personally, I wouldn't run hids in the stock low beams, even with the glare caps and smoked housings. I feel they wouldn't be too bad if you did though, IMO projectors are the only way to go. I will never own a vehicle that doesn't have them on there anymore lol. After putting them in I can't... -

Yea, I had it on 250 for around 10 minutes. You just want to make sure that the glue gets hot enough to spread apart, also when reselling them I just put them back in the oven to reheat the glue and I went around the edges with black rtv silicon to be on the safe side. As far as the vent tubes... -

I've heard the new mini D2S is pretty good, I don't think you're gonna have enough room behind the high beam for another projector and it's really not needed because you can get too much foreground light which hurts distance vision, look on hidplanet.com they have lots of info about quad retros... -

Yea that sounds good, TRS also carries some generic Mini H1s they are the same thing only not tuned and they dont have the same warranty. They cost only 40 bucks although they are backordered, they will get some back in. So there is that option too. You would not need projectors for the highs... -
