RTV on Gasket?
I live in Houston Texas area......switched to a 180 Deg. thermostat on my Limited Tahoe, anyone know if a stainless blade fan replacement, like the old Flex-A-Blade is available, the ( 4 ) bolt pattern is different on the reverse flow water pump.- Black Limited

2001 SS
They do exist.........2000 year only..I'm the original owner of a Tahoe Limited, SS emblems were never use by GM, to avoid higher insurance rates. The dash MPH is 120 instead of normal 110. Up t0 165k in mileage, normal oil changes and transmission cleaning of filter, have replaced radiator...- Black Limited

Engine additives, fuel treatment and oil
I've used Shell regular in my Tahoe Limited, since new reaching 180K...….with no running problems. Regular oil/ filter changes, 4k mileage schedule, Pennzoil 20-50 Wt, AC Delco PF 2232 filter, Changed air filter 2x. replace plugs with AC Delco brand, and wires around 80 K...……...clean TPS...- Black Limited

Don't know what your problems are with Shell, been running it in all 4 vehicles for the last 20 years, 3 of them have clean tailpipes, all fuel injected and well maintained, with oil changes on schedule and tune ups. 2000 Tahoe Limited, 05 5.3L Sub and 05 Toyota Matrix My 4th is 4 barrel...- Black Limited
