Yes, the 6.2L L86 in 2018 only uses the GM Hydra-Magic 10L80-10spd trans with 4.70:1 gearing in 1st gear and much less of a spread between gears along with a lot more torque of the 6.2L, they can use a taller differential gearing. Total weight of the rig matters too for cooling capacity of the engine and trans, along with braking capacity, especially if you’re towing over grades.- AZRiverRunner

2023 Cadillac Escalade V
Sounds like a good time for GM to roll out a Tahoe SS with that 682 HP / 653 Lb-Ft Torque Supercharged 6.2L engine! Then maybe I'll consider trading in my 2018 RST.. I definitely won't spend $150k on an Escalade V.- AZRiverRunner

Back in 2015, I rented a 2015 Tahoe LT 4x4 in Dallas for a hunting trip. I flew home after that trip and bought my first Tahoe. I when I travel, I rent vehicles through Costco Travel. Beware...ALL the main rental car companies will quote you on a Full Size or Luxury SUV but in the fine print...- AZRiverRunner

Tire pressure isn't a universal setting for all tires and vehicles. The Tahoe's RST's magnetic suspension rides firm and flat hard in turns, these 22" tires like that pressure with the weight. Nope, They've got over 32k miles on them, only look about half worn, even wear across the treads on all 4 tires. Plus about 5k miles flat towing behind my RV. I've rotated them every 10k miles. The stock Bridgestone tires were worn out at 33k miles, plus about 2k flat tow miles.- AZRiverRunner

2018 Tahoe RST brakes
I have 64k mostly highway miles on my RST with Brembo brakes, about still look to have at least 1/2 the meat still on the pads, with very minimal wear on the rotors. They squeak occasionally, as do my other vehicles with high performance brakes.- AZRiverRunner

Fuel range dramatic change
My 2005 Hummer H2 always shows about the same after every fill-up, reading 330-340 miles, whether I fill up in California, Arizona, or Nevada... It gets about 10.5 mpg city and hwy and has a 32 gallon fuel tank.. That's too painful to drive often these days.. LOL!.. or should I "Cry Out Loud" I...- AZRiverRunner

Yes it is, and seems more effective in my 2018, with a lot more torque than in my 2015. In the 2015, V4 mode only engaged rarely at highway speeds.
