    Wheel spacers

    bigdaddy.. I'm assuming you have some hubcentric spacers? Try not to skimp on cost with spacers. Hubcentric spacers center the spacer to your hub and should also center your rim to the hub/spacer keeps everything in line. Just torque lugs every so often to prevent anything bad from happening.

    Wheel Offsets????? HELP!

    negative offsets push your stance out from wheel wells. Positive brings wheels closer to frame. offset is distance from centerline of rim that your mounting surface is away. higher "negative offset" also decreases backspacing and vice versus.

    Smaller piping usually gets more of a pop to it. Bigger has a lower crackle. Tips IMO play a part to. Bigger and longer tips add that deeper loud tone as it acts as a megaphone in a way. Headers and any mid pipe stuff modifies tone as well, x and h pipes, catalytic converters etc. You say...

    There was a TSB with a updated nickel plated slip yoke or somethin that was suppose to fix acceleration from a stop clunk. Damn thing is expensive though. I just greased mine good.

    Is ticking definitely from engine or lower? I've heard exhaust manifold gaskets "tick" before. The donut ones where exhaust mounts to manifolds.
