Another UOA = Used Oil Analysis, 07 Yukon Denali 6.2L w183k miles, Amsoil 0w-20 w/8.5k miles

I say WOW....impressive I've no idea what levels of these elements would be considered low, acceptable, or excessive when testing 3/4 life motor oil? I found this trying to get some feedback on making the engine oil switch from Mobil 1 to Amsoil and Trans Oil switch from Valvoline to...

    2013 Tahoe/Towing question

@skpyle......I'm only halfway through page 3 and I felt like I should stop and tell you that I love you man! As soon as(or if I ever) finish this 14 bolt axle swap I'm about 60% of the way through, I'm going to address my TCC lockup failure issues with a new TC, a combo of Sonnax and...

How to clean fuel injectors ?

Yes With 30k miles I doubt you need Cataclean but wouldn't hurt to read bottle/website, learn what is, then decide. I've only used it because both of our vehicles have been running rich for too long and trying to prevent catalytic converters from plugging up

Would like opinions on front pads for '12 XL Denali, thinking about Hawk

Would've loved to have had the foresight to measure the 60-0 stopping distance with my worn out warped factory rotors and pads, so I could compare it with the Powerstop Z36's I put on a few years ago. Likely wouldn't have trusted and app though, but I'm weird like that. Just counted 22 total...

    Rear-end swap: 8.6" 10 bolt w/3.08 >> 9.5" 14 bolt w/3.42 + 3.42 swap in 8.25" front (or else)

HAhaahhaha... Thankfully, that's her kind of humor because she called about a minute after I typed that....had to read it to her ;) Kinda banking on making sure there's visible progress being made in our kitchen everyday. That's my best chance of maintaining my current residency in the house

Me also, I owe you guys one. Welcome to come up for Trout or swift water Smallmouth fishing, whitewater rafting, Appalachian Trail, golf at the Greenbrier, or ______(whatever) anytime. Honestly was going to wait and get it later.....then thought about the front and rear 3.08 set I can sell +...

Highly productive day... Thanks to last weeks "coaching up" on the fundamentals of axle i.d. by VIN from @swathdiver & @Geotrash, I was able to end my recent string of strikeouts yesterday... Made a 3hr road trip down to Lewisville Motors in Winston-Salem, NC and scored this beauty...

    Post Burb Avalanche, recommendations

It's been 9.5yrs since I went through my search. I was mostly looking for 2-3yr old vehicle with = < 30kmi white w/blk leather, sunroof, the 6sp trans, A/C seats, and Pwr Run Boards. I would've gone with the Cadi faster than you could say it had they offered it with a 4x2/4x4 switchabled...

How to clean fuel injectors ?

Did this about 18mos ago... Seemed to work great. 9v with alligator clip jumpers causes an audible "click" as the injector opens and spraying cleaner through showed 4 distinct nozzle fan type spray patterns. Two of mine were not playing nice on first spray but straightened right up on...

Does anyone offer a HID projector housing for the Yukon?

.....for about 5 weeks. Then one morning while testing my trucks lateral G capabilities last May, I had a deer run right into the bottom outside corner of my pass headlight at about 75mph and destroyed what I was so proud to have put together... Reminding me: Pride is the sign of a foolish...

Does anyone offer a HID projector housing for the Yukon?

..... #6 LOW projector pattern #7 LOW ONLY when HI's were activated :D . Light output was A++++ for about 2.5yrs. But I knew I had two issues coming. Spyder's weren't rated for Xenon temps and started melting in a little blob where beam concentrated -and- Morimoto's weren't rated for...
