    Has anybody looked at the dipstick? I would maybe start there and if it’s low top it up with whatever oil you have. Hard to diag any noise around a motor that is 5 quarts low on oil…. Also, by the time you diagnose it you will need to replace the motor anyway!

    For what it’s with my 2003 had the same code and issue. Ended up being a failed intake gasket. They get old and harden, then lean air causing a leak condition

    Pull the plugs and look at them. Do a compression/leak down test. That will give you answers. The pcv is 3 dollars just replace it no matter what.
