correct me if im wrong but doesnt the 13.5" Dub 7 feed at like 1000 RMS?

dub 7?? W7 13? yea there 1000 might be a off-brand amp that says 2000w rms, so yea you will need it too push a w7 otherwise a 1000/1 JL would do awesome on 1 w7

---------- Post added at 06:48 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:47 AM ----------

no offense if it is a off-brand amp..

looks real sweet. Does it have that tight growl like the one in the youtube video?

Yea it sounds soooooo good :)

There is a 100-250 Mile 'break-in" period so maybe it will get even louder, but all I know is my friend on the 4th floor of the dorm texted me when i drove by and asked if I did because she heard a loud exhaust....so yea I would say its loud haha

13W7 are 1500RMS whereas the 12W7 is 1000RMS and JL 1000/1 is perfect for either one basically. I have the 12W7 in the High Ouput Box (made by JL for this sub) and it BANGS. people never believe me when I say its just a single 12" until they see it. powered by a JL 1000/1

as Titanium would say..... W7's or BUST!

The High Output Box

I think it would be BA if they made a ** box for the 13.5 The enclosure makes such a huge difference.

hmmm...Well this week has been good to me, I need advice again on Rims 22's to be exact.
Here they are:

Heres some of the ad
"You are looking at a set of USED 22'' WHEELS, WITH PIRELLI TIRES IN GOOD SHAPE. FOR THE PRICE YOU GET 5 RIMS, AND 5 TIRES, (ONE WAS A SPARE/BACKUP) A GREAT DEAL, CONSIDERING THESE NEW WERE OVER $2500!"

I called and he told me the Pirelli tires (4 that were used) have 70-80% Tread left and that the *Price includes lugnuts, mounting, balancing, and installation onto vehicle.

Should I bite? It seems like a really good deal :)

heres another pic of them on his Denali:

Drumroll for the price....Hes asking $750.00

Yea, But I am sure in New England (where I live) the 22's would hold up better then 24's with pot-holes and awful roads everywhere.

To tell you the truth, what determines that is how much sidewall you have.
If you got a 305/35/24 tire, that would be just about the same sidewall height with a 285/40/22 tire (what you would prob. hav with 22s), so I think 24s with that 305 tire and a 2/3 drop would have your car set, and celaner than it already is!:adminpower:

Yea 03-06 NBS Tahoe come with Double Din Bracket...Now the adapters I needed Sucked big time

I have Bose/OnStar

Needed:
Double Din Kit ($10ish)
Antenna adapter ($7ish)
GMOS-04 ($125+ in store and most places) ( I was able to snag one off eBay for $45.00 :) )
Steering wheel controls ($45.00)
Also, $5 for a switch to let me use video modes while in motion

Overall I am very happy with the deck and would recommend it to anyone. There was also a "issue" with rear video and "heating controls" maybe not working after the install and they all work great still with the exception of no DVD rear audio thru system

I am however going to wire the "video out" of the Pioneer to the "AUX" input on the overhead DVD to allow for the sound and video to be the same and also wanting to install some headrest LCDs to wire them in also so all 4 monitors will have the same video :)
