I wanted to buy the smooth vent caps but decided to have my stockers painted for now since it was much cheaper. Mine were fading pretty bad and this was a great improvement. The body shop only charged me $50.

Thanks...I'll probably still buy the smoothies someday and sell these.

Yeah I remember reading that thread and thinking "I'll never get mine to look worth a crap". LOL

that looks really good, i wonder if mine painted black like yours would look alright with light pewter metallic body paint

I'm sure it would look fine, but painting them body color would look best!

Yea I know what you mean...Just paint your 'hoe black and you can have it both ways =)
