Thats why the GM Nav. is too expensive, you pay $2000 or more for a nav in which the update disc can easily run $200 or more??
I'd take the Kenwood lol.....

Owners of qualified GM vehicles will receive a free update disc for the navigation system on your anniversary. The GM vehicle owners subscription offer will expire on December 31, 2009.

yeah good one. Don't think I would have gotten a new disc either but the response would have been interesting

Naw never been scammed but everytime I get those emails I try to strike up a coversation just for the hell of it. For the life of me I can't figure out how anyone falls for that mess, but it obviously works or else they wouldn't still be running that game.

I think that has been considered before but it seems like it involves a lot of work or technology to get it done successfully

anyone know where is the DVD fuse on an 06 Denali? I looked at both fuse panels and neither lists the DVD, unless I'm going blind

It is trying to be done now, which I would think it would just be burning the image to cd/dvd but who knows, haven't dug that deep into it.

A little birdie said to try going to download.com and download a file called bitcomet.

You'll need a Verbatim dual layer DVD (DL+R), a dual layer burner, it should work with Nero, and the slowest speed possible to burn (1x)
