Here's my 2wd 07 White Tahoe:

Debadged
5% tint,
Eibach 2/3
26x9.5 Crave N16s wrapped in 295/30
white billet
smoked LED tails
Halos with LEDs up front
LED fogs
blacked out emblems.
Clarion VX400 doubledin
Headrest screens
Two JLW3s
Boston speakers throughout
Alpine and Infinity amps
...and a Chicco car seat for my first, a 9 week old baby boy.

Future plans are brakes, exhaust, LED interiors, shaved roof rack, wrap the roof, esky third, remove the badges, and probably redo the front grille...I dont really like it. Also trying to figure out what/if I should redo the suspension. It doesnt ride poorly, nor do I bottom out, but it seems that from what I read this is the cheap way to go and there was definitely a better way to drop it.

Enjoy!

What do you mean the cheap way to go?

Well, from what I understand the drop was done by means of only coils....I believe the spindles are currently stock. I've been told this is the cheaper way which could result in alignment issues? Also, Im trying to read up on the free travel mod in the rear, as Im almost positive that wasnt done by the previous owner. (I bought it already lowered).

Not really the cheap way to go. Just a different route. If I was gonna do it over I'd do springs so they matched up front and rear.

Gotcha, good to know... like I said, the ride seems fine, alignment has been ok so far, so I really wasnt sure why I had been told that. So far so good, so I'll stick to it until something seems wrong or in need of a better alternative. thx for the info!

I say leave the springs........

Cheap is not always bad...... besides sometimes spindles throw codes...... and then you would have had spent more for more problems.

Looks really good. One thing I would say not as a bash or anything is get some stock lights.. Just those ebay projector headlights have really really bad light output. Not safe.. especially if you are carrying a little one. As I know as I just had twins back in Dec and this is the main baby hauler.

Installed some shock extenders yesterday as well as swapping out my rear eibach coils to some mcgaughys. Even though both advertise 3", these coils got it down closer to 4". She sits pretty darn close to level now.

How's the mcgs ride?

Pretty similar I think.... Im guessing the shock extenders helped out as well.

I need to trim just a hair off the inner plastic in the rear. I can hear and see a little rub on turns, but not on bumps. That must have to do with the rear swaying a little for it to hit, as opposed to a straight down compression over a bump taken straight on. weird.
