Bought HD grille and bumper cap

HD front end conversion

today i went to certifit to buy my HD grille and bumper cap seems like everything in the grille lines up so now i will send it to paint to get colormatched and also the bumper cap..then i will install it..super exited for this..in a couple weeks il pick up an HD hood also

the center of the bumper is chrome but its plastidipped it will be colormatched also..not sure on color matching the valance as well i would have to see a couple pics right now its painted in flat black

man i want to do this already and get that grille on but with the weather in colorado right now it makes it difficult..what do you guys think of the color of the hood would it go good with the tahoe or just get it single color?

Can you point me to the ebay link for your headlights? I want the ccfl. I think I know which ones you have, but I just want to make sure?

mine are actually the chrome headlights but once i went with the black look i opened them and painted the housing also on my corners jaja but these are the ones your looking for

The first ones you posted are the ones I don't want. I forgot about you painting them, but I remember reading it somewhere. I know Depos perform better, but I like the Halo look. They have some Halos on ebay that look pretty dark, but I think the pics make them look darker than what they really are? I'm doing something similar to yours but without the HD front. I was going to get the HD front but its too late now because I bought this:

I've probably had this thing for over a year and a half, but got set back due to people stealing my Tahoe. Everyone I talk to in Dallas with Chevy trucks or Escalades say it happened to them too. It is so bad that you have to leave someone sitting in your Truck while you go in Walmart. They even steal rims off impounded cars at the Dallas pound, but they lie about it. The guy I just bought my double din Pioneer from said they held him at gunpoint at Walmart for his Tahoe.

the same thing but smoked..ive heard that those arent recomended because the lense being smoked will make dark spots in the glass due to the hot light over time..i have seen a couple that have done that so just watch out for that..and that ss bumper and HD hood should look bad ass..any pics of your tahoe? i wish i had that hood right now jaja

Well I guess I'm getting the Depos. Those black ones need some gloss and I don't feel like opening them up and painting them. The Depos seem darker than the matte looking Halos. My truck isn't worth looking at. I'm still trying to put it back together from being stolen. It looks like a plain jane factory Tahoe right now, but I'll post pics of it on rims.

I was going to drop it and paint it prior to this

I had hid kit, dark smoked tails, 4 screens in headrest, autopage alarm, and full aftermarket stereo. They took it all and more.

This is in it right now but is coming out because I have 4 Sundown Sa15s.

I'll be sure to post pics when I finish it

yea that is a good point mine i painted them in gloss black with clear coat over it soo there alot more glossy and black than others ive seen with the same lights..sorry to hear bout all of that you got stolen it pisses me off people cant work for their own stuff..its a nice tahoe you have i bet that system will be fucken loud..i have two DC audio level 3 15s on mine but its just alot of weight for being my DD so im selling the system also i need to get some slotted rotors pretty soon..keep updates on the pregress man looks like itl be a real clean tahoe

ok so today i took my bumper off so i could have a better idea of what to expect when i cut and weld the bumper brackets..after an hour of trying to remove all 8 bolts that i had trouble finding i took the bumper off and tried on the grille

there was a couple minor fitment issues but with some minor adjustments it should all come out good..the grille and the chrome piece would not sit flush together without pressing them together..the chrome piece has pins that go through the grille but theres no way to hold them together il have to keep looking at that

these also came in with the grille maybe these are what i need to hold the two pieces flush but i couldnt figure out how..any ideas?

also this came with the grille and have no idea what its for

Hey man i have everything already to do mine already have the hood on....could you save me some time and let me know how to get the bumper off ? location of bolts lol so i can cut the brackets and weld them down?
