I have a NNBS and have the 6.2L. I took a recent trip and I am getting about the same gas mileage on the highway as I am just my normal every day travel. I do drive some in town and highway. I'm getting around 14mpg. Is this what everyone is experiencing?

Is there a way you can reset your MPGs ? I ask because it uses average of driving for instance if you drove a 100 mile trip that won't have much effect on a 3000 mile average

FYI Make sure you post in the correct section If not you won't receive the best feedback I went ahead and moved it :happy160:

I don't have a Denali, but I'm getting about 13 with the 5.3. Probably around 14 on the highway. I haven't taken it on the highway long distances since I installed my Airaid but I'd imagine at 14 with the 6.2 your doing ok. And if you don't know how to reset the mpg, hold down the check mark on the avg mpg on the dis.

My mom drives he esky so damn slow she gets 14.4 avg
But before she got a tune up she had gone down all the way to 11.6.
Maybe it's time for a tune up Felix

What. 2005 XL...took a pic o' the DIC = 21.4 NJ-to-MD. 20.5 last week. Yes, I reset it evey fillup. Didn't get the Denali so as to avoid the AWD all-the-time.

Damn yea I need to get it done ASAP. I actually have an EFI Live AutoCall sitting at my house but I've been out of town for work for a while now so haven't had time to mess with it!

I had the BB tune done in 10.2012. Getting 17 hwy & 14 in town, but that's w/ premium fuel.
The BB tune is worth it. Way more power ++!!!

Best I've averaged on the HWY is 18.5 That's on a 5.3 with a BB tune. 14 Hwy MPG sounds awful low even for a 6.2. Sure your numbers are accurate?

Damn some of you are getting good numbers. My average over the last 2000 miles has been 11.2 MPG. Combination of city/highway but mostly city.

Oh well, I didn't buy a full size SUV to save on gas!

85% city with 5.3L, BB 91+ tune, in 2Hi, 3.42 gears, I average 14.5-15 mpg on winter blend right now, wife does most of this driving. If I was doing most of it it'd be 15.5-16mpg Was averaging 16-17 before tune but also on summer fuel. I'm interested to see the improvement on summer fuel.

That's impressive @GiB. I know you're a very efficient driver. You do a lot of hwy right?

I'm getting about 13mpg city and 19 on the highway but still have less than 3k miles on my '12 5.3. Hopefully things will improve a bit after the motor is more broken in.

I received an "intermediate" TCM tune from Justin which is in-between the stock and my original TCM tune. Will be starting my mpg log on that one shortly.
