This is a forum that I like to see! I have had it on another website for my LR and I thought it would be cool over on this one too!

i bought an 03 z71 with 150,001 miles for $7,000
Pioneer AVH-4300dvd and back-up camera- $400
2 15" Sundown SA's, 1 SAZ1500 Sundown amp, Stinger wiring kit, and custom box -$900?
Depo L.E.D. taillights - $150
black housing headlights and parking lights with 30,000k H.I.Ds - $150
5% tint all the way around (done myself) but qoutes are about $180 here
tinted windsheild 35%...did myself and didnt cost anything since i have the materials.
reupholstered my headliner and painted all vents and controls for about $50
26" status dynasty rims with 305/30/26 tires- $2,300
painted all outside cladding and plastic to match $30
50 series flowmaster dumped $300
Omega Excalibur alarm/remote start installed myself $200

im sure im leaving some things out...
plan to do a 2/3 or 4 drop in the next week or two...$525
also want to do the nnbs front brake upgrade which i think is slightly over $300

i've gone thru like 5 different subs now but since i still have them all i'll say i've spent 750 in the last year (most recent purchase was a set of mtx 8500's in a beefy sealed box for only 200, dope deal imo)
infinity kappa speakers (130)
pioneer 3400dvd touch screen (350)
plastidip (5)
HID fogs and lows (80)

so all in all minus the truck itself i'm in like 2500 or so

I no some people dont really get it... And yes im going to paint when spring comes. I would rather spend my money on my hoe then a newer vehicle. Its far more realible then most vehicles

I think the last time i counted it was something in the ballpark of 7-8 grand Mods wise
2300 for the lift
2000 for rims and tires
exterior accessories probably 1400 there ( brush guard , grille ,lights,tail light guards, mirrors ect…
700 all moog suspension bushings, ball joints , idler arm , pitman arm ECT………..
interior crap - 5 -600

parts awaiting my downtime to install - 500

Lets not discuss replacement parts lol i do keep a log of every receipt of work or parts I've ordered or done and that alone titles about 8 grand
over a 5 year period

We also have a 2002 Tahoe and a 2008 LTZ Tahoe, and a 2000 grand Marcus that I am putting a merc marauder engine and trans in.

I have about $37k in receipts, which doesnt include any regular maintenance expenses. I'm done. Didn't realize how much I was throwing into the truck until a couple months ago when I was bored and just curious and ended up adding all the receipts.

Man, your truck's come a long way since last Ive been on here. Looks good.


Good thing Ive done everything to my truck myself aside from the paint. Thats a ton of labor cost saved right there. If not for that, my truck wouldnt have half the mods it has right now.
