how are you guys mounting the front door speakers??

May be a stupid question but...Took the panel off mine, was blown away at how the factory speakers were mounted, so, do you guys simply drill new holes for new ones or?? Seems to be small indentations for new speakers but not sure..

One wire should have like a line that usually is gonna be positive and speakers come with a piece that secures onto the screw if not just drill in or get another oem

Self-tappers or mark and pre-drill holes. No problem.

Self-tapping screws it is!!...the new speakers did come with clips but when I tried to use them for the back they simply broke lol...will get some Self-tapping screws this week thanks fells!

I used self tapping but also re-used the styrofoam enclosure type surround my stockers had. This probably did nothing for sound on my components, but I felt cool...

I wanna know how the OP got the stock speaker grille out. Mine didn't come out very easy.

Mine popped out with a little wiggling. Haha I think it's easier honestly to just pop the panel off. Just my opinion.

Really? The metal speaker grille was riveted in 4 places and stuck in between two layers on the panel on mine... I had to cut it out. No way you could get it out without taking the panel completely apart.

Whaaat? Mine just had mesh tabs... I didnt realize this until my door panels were off, but still.

I simply tore mine out, couldn't believe they were in there that way, im gonna use the aftermarket grills...
