Haha, no..but that's not what you said, or what my quote from you was. You said: "i am confused as to the point of this 'mod'."
I answered, "I could probably say the same about other mods." As in, there are other mods that are essentially pointless.
Ok then please answer my question as to why you need flashing lights in the front of your Tahoe? I could careless about pointless mods but you have to have a reason for flashing lights.

Why not have flashing lights on the front of your Tahoe?
You could sell it to a police officer with out the lights. The air bags really didn't have much of a point other then I didn't squat when pulling a trailer but they also didn't make me get confused with an emergency vehicle. You must be very young and I hope you grow up one day to realize that not everything is a game, emergency vehicles have flashing lights so that when people see them they know that it is an emergency. I honestly hope you get pulled over for them, not because I dislike you but because it is very foolish to impersonate emergency vehicles that save people lives.

Thanks for that, again I am not using them on public roads trying to get through traffic or anything like that. I am 24, probably a bit too old to put flashing lights on my vehicle, but hey. Thanks again sir.
Ok so you only intend to screw with friends.. fair.. but seems like a waist of money to jsut mess with friends in a field or whatever.. this is like putting a winch bumper and winch on a slammed car.. POINTLESS.. i mean you say you dont intend to impersinate an officer.. yet you contradict yourself in saying that you plan to mess with your friends acting like a cop.. OK thats cool ONCE then what are you gonna do.. why do it if you cant use it everyday...

and last any cop that is buying a car is going to get outfitted by a professional emergency vehicle company and they only buy used Emergency vehicles from other agencies not private individuals.. so that theory is busted..

I couldn't see an Auburn cop pulling you over for having them if you aren't using them, I would be worried about Auburn PD or a state trooper getting you for speeding, busted tag light, etc and then noticing it.

Like I said before, there are plenty of mods out there that are pointless. Kind of like your PnP ebay projector headlights. Those headlights have worse light output than factory with or without HID bulbs in them. There are a ton of examples of pointless mods, but I am not questioning any of them.
To be completely honest, I get to the point with my vehicles that I start doing these stupid little mods just to have a little fun (have something new). I probably won't be using it at all in, say, a month or two.
I was really just kidding about selling it to a police officer..but thanks for taking that seriously as well.
I didn't realize this was going to start a ridiculous argument but it was entertaining, I guess.

1. Looks good, cool factor etc.
2. But... Not necessary, and I wouldn't do it, I would not spend $$ for such a novelty item.
3. Austin is grown, should take responsibility for his actions. As such I think he has been "warned" through of this thread. If he gets busted then....... he knows now.
4. I still think his truck looks dope.

He lives in Alabama... Blue is ONLY used by cops there. I would know I used to live in the same city as him.
I think this mod is actually pretty cool? I'm only 16, so I'm sure that it'll be said that I have a fascination with flashing lights because I'm young, which is probably true, but still... I would really like to add some type of white strobes to the front of my car, I just haven't had the excess cash-flow to do so yet... I want them just for the cool factor and to mess with my friends, so I understand where the OP is coming from... I don't understand why everyone is getting all hot & bothered about a modification that HE did to HIS truck? The first few warning posts where okay, but when every other post is someone complaining and being rude, it's safe to say the thread has derailed and gotten out of hand... He's a big boy, he knows the risks of having these lights mounted, and I'm sure he isn't stupid enough to go around pulling people over....
