Parting that Suburban out would take forever. Parting out cars in general is a very long and frustrating process.
That being said, that Suburban is worth $80k new with all those mods, not with 12k miles.

Not really. The stereo is the only thing that is really built in and custom. Everything else is bolt on...or bolt off. Takes no longer to take it off than it did to put it on. I've done it many times on cars I've owned because it's actually easier to sell a car that isn't modded. Generally, people shy away from modded cars because they tend to get driven hard and they don't care about the mods.

I've seen this thing in Dallas at the American Airlines Center (Where the Mavs and Stars play) many many times. I walk by it every time I go in because it always is parked in handicapped parking somehow. Of course they put time into it, but I walk by it just like any other car. Not a head turner (except for when I'm walking out and I laugh at how ugly the grille is).

The members on here convinced Yates to part out his Yukon before selling it and he did.
A couple of months later, he still has the Yukon because it is more difficult to find someone to buy it now that it is just like every other Yukon in North America.
It may be smart to remove some of the pricey mods before selling sometimes, but removing the cheaper ones is not going to be worth it in the end.

I removed all the mods from the HyHoe and she sold in 2-3 weeks, plus I got 2/3rd of my mod money back.

There are a lot more factors going into how fast a car sells than whether it's modified or not ... including price, mileage, condition, history, gas prices, etc. To draw cause and effect from that one factor is flawed.

That said, the more personalized a vehicle is the narrower the buyer pool ... first you have to find someone who shares the seller's taste, willing to pay a premium for it, and they have to not be weary of vehicles that aren't stock.

But there are two different types of mods ... mods like mine that can easily be reversed with a screwdriver and a heat gun, and mods like in the burb in the OP that would probably be just as expensive to reverse as they were to put in.
