hid 15k lights for reverse

I have the 15k hid lights on the headlights could i ran the h11 15k lights for reverse or would that be to bright if so what are people running for reverse lights my lights are blacked out

i have G4 LED tails in my NOT blacked out and an HID H11 kit for the reverse light. it's never too bright in my book. plus they are only one when you are in reverse so it's not like you're blinding people with them while you are driving. looks sick though.

If I remember right, which I could be wrong. 15k arent any brighter than others, that just means it burns a different color. 15k should be purple/pink if I recall correctly

I would run 6k, but thats just me. Just a tad blue and really white

sunlight is around 5700. Brighest is going to be around the 6k. Anything higher in the Kelvin scale will be more Hue of colors but not as bright.

True - the higher you go the more blue is added eventually leading to purple (ive seen green at some point)

I run everything at 5000K which is a pure white light. I want to see, not look "pretty" after all I'm already good looking enough....ROFLMAO!!!

4300 is to low for sunlight. Sunlight on high noon clear sky can be 5000 to 6500 depending on condition. People that use anything over 8k tends to hurt the eyes of on coming traffic.

Some of those greens and reds and weird colors are the addition of gases or metals that burn specifically in that color range and dont actually match kelvin color code.. so like.. you can take 4300k and add copper chloride or chromium to the filament you will have a GREEN hid or if added lithium chloride to an hid it would burn red.. adding lithium to an already blueish hid will give you a pink or purple tone..
