I never could find this information for my truck specifically (2005) so I did it myself and figured it'd be helpful for others.

I haven't a clue about a navigation radio but I will say I was the most nervous about doing the radio and had the most trouble with. It's a awkward series circuit with 2 series/parallel circuits with polarities colliding. It doesn't make sense electrically but it works.

Looks awesome. I did mine about a year and a half ago. Done several other trucks since, including Mike (TahoeWhat). I know what you mean about the series wiring on the stock bulbs. Its confusing as hell!! All the 00-02 AC controls are like that, so are the 03-06 controls with the sliders. Also all overhead rear AC controls are wired like that too. Keep that in mind when you go to do your overhead AC controls.

I needed the same info and was excited to find this, but I'm stumped now... This diagram shows the solder points being next to each other (Left to Right, East to West, what ever orientation you want to use) but my radio has them being North/South (Up/Down, Top/Bottom) orientation.

With that being said... I found some LED's with the resistor 'built in'. Anyone heard of that before?

Thanks for posting!

Are those hot spots as bad as they appear in the pictures or are they just a camera artifact?

Would you post a link to the exact LEDs you used?

Edit wow dates are difficult

I've been told you mount 1 LED in one direction and the next LED is mounted the opposite way. So alternate them.

You can get the 12 volt cubes with built in resistors in 3mm cubes here: https://www.ebay.com/str/gmgaugerepair/12-volt-LED-Bulk-Sales-3-mm/_i.html?_storecat=23349650017

The 5mm for the speedo are here: https://www.ebay.com/str/gmgaugerepair/12-volt-LED-Bulk-Sales-5-mm/_i.html?_storecat=23349651017

The previous link is not working any more.
