WOW! I'm at 114k, and just a rookie compared to u guys. Are u guys who are 200k> running original motors and trans'?

Yes, mine still has the original drivetrain with a bunch of new parts though. PLanning a revamp when I can get my hands on more green though.

170k on body and 80k on engine and tranny replaced by previous owner. I didnt realize how long some of these engines go for... This give me hope!! :)

179,000 body unknown on newer motor 2nd transfer case no probs out of my 5speed manual 2nd diff and shit ton of electrical problems but still runs.

Yeah GM has not really been known for their electrical quality lol.

Hey, is your 5 speed factory? If aftermarket, was it hard to put in? That sounds really cool!
My very first car was a 81 malibu with a manual 3 speed (Iraqi taxi) and a 28? v6. It was fun, but it got better when we dropped in a 305 from a camaro! Then the first gear was just there to shred tires! ahh youth........

So, when I read a five speed in a 350, I had the same thoughts. How much fun would that be.......

Now I'm curious!

98 LT 4 door 2wd with rear doors up at 160k and the engine still has power like new.
