Been looking for awhile at Suburbans, Tahoes, Yukons, and finally got a 2005 Tahoe 4x4 on Saturday. Looking forward to gleaning some knowledge on here. The vehicle was a one-owner vehicle, appears to be well taken care of. A few issues thus far, but been whittling them down.

Topped off brake fluid, replaced wipers and drl bulbs. De-badged the license plate frames. Ordered floor mats, third brake light, and need to order rear door reflectors, as the tabs are broken on the originals.

Still need to test the 4x4 system.

The front end has the clunk. I've read that is common. Hoping it's just the intermediate shaft.

Welcome old friend! Yo @07Burb look what the cat dragged in. :anitoof:

Yeah, I have a feeling it's just bad. This vehicle doesn't any entertainment system installed, so finding a replacement head unit should be straight forward. I hope. Did some browsing on Saturday and there are tons of options. Just want AM/FM, CD, BT. Nothing too fancy.

Don't forget some pics man, we want to see her.

That answered that question...lol... What's happening Cob? I wonder how many GMSB members are on here? I've already reached out to @89Suburban
That's a good question. I know I've ran into a couple over the years but myself and @89Suburban are the most active from GMSB for sure. I hope that you end up liking it here. Tons of good info and knowledgeable folks here.

Welcome to the forum from Oregon. Pics please. IMO, you bought one of the best, as an owner of a GMT800.

"The front end has a clunk". When does it have a clunk noise or is it a feeling? What are you doing when it happens and is it constant?
