So the 2021 Yukon/Tahoe/Suburban's were not equipped with a hard button to activate the 360° camera system. Instead you have to go thru the radio screen with a software icon. This is fine, but if you're in the radio/carplay/nav you have to do multiple steps to get to the icon. In 2022 GM added a hard button to the left the steering wheel in the cluster of buttons with auto start/stop, parking sensors, lane keep assist etc. Luckily someone over on GM-Trucks figured out that the newer switch was a direct plug-n-play into the 2021 models. So I figured out the correct switch to buy and installed it in my 2021 Yukon. Works perfectly!

Here is my video of the installation. Pretty simple swap, basic tools, can be done in about 15 mins.

We are picking up a 2023 Yukon AT4 this weekend and it's missing the "Plug" button on the right side. I recall seeing a VIDEO that explained the "plug" bitton was moved to the area where the sunroof controls are, but was curious if I slapped ONE OF THESE in if it would still control that accessory. We have the six buttons as shown Thank You

Yes I recall reading about the plug button being relocated. I dont think adding the switches with the plug button will do anything in that case, since the wiring would not be present at that location.

I wonder if i find a 6 button one with Lane Departure, traction control, Hill descent, Parking, 360 degree camera, and auto start/stop.

The two large ones would be 360 and auto start/stop..time to go through that list.

Like THIS, But the "detect off" needs to be hill descent.

I guess I'm confused as to why you would want to add it, if the controls for it are by the sunroof controls.

At first i wanted the power button there, but since we don't think it will work..i'd rather eliminate the dead button and get one that has just the six.
