Hello all! I am looking to do a front spindle lift on my 07 2wd suburban. The issue is, all of the 3" and 4.5" spindle lifts i have found specifically say they dont fit a silverado with aluminum control arms, but the same info isn't stated when it comes to the suburban fitment notes? Will the generic ebay and Amazon lift struts work with a suburban with aluminum lower control arms? Thanks for taking the time to check this out!

Worse case scenario you could just swap in some cast lower control arms so that they fit into the lift spindle

I appreciate the response, and the info. Installing cast steel lower control arms is a possibility, but negates the the point of a low buck lift on an older truck.

Rock Auto has the L/R LCAs for $60 & $65, and that includes the ball joints and bushings. That's pretty cheap considering the project goals, and your options.

Do you have the 2007 1500, or 2500? IIRC, the 2500 is a carry-over GMT800 chassis & suspension. (someone correct me)

It should work fine my lift/spindles came off a steel lca Silverado (2019) and I put them on my 07 Tahoe with aluminum arms with no issues
