Denali projectors vs aftermarket vs LED in halogen headlights

I'm looking around at ways to improve my lighting. There isn't much option for what I want so I wanted to get some opinions.

I've always installed HID's in projector housings, and I still feel that's what I want to do. I found new denali headlights on carparts for $190 or so but I'd probably look around for some used ones and polish the lens. The reason I like this route is it's OEM, so I'm expecting good beam angle and reliability. What I don't like is the chrome bezel. I would probably take the headlight apart and remove the chrome.

Secondly is the Spyder style headlights, which are cool. But I'm not a fan of the LED strip on it. I really only want the black projector housing, but I do like them. My con is their price. Especially compared to them OEM housing with a bulb.

Thirdly is using the stock housing for LED's. This seems to be possible without blinding everyone, but LED's seem to have issues with overheating, fitment and are pretty expensive. I've gotten away with $70 HID kits in the past that worked great for quite some time. These LED's look to be around $200 for good ones and that's just headlights. This also doesn't address the resistor issues with them.

My advice is that you get what you pay for. Geat cheap housing, LEDs or HIDs, you will be replacing EVERYTHING often.

I have an LED setup in aftermarket black lenses with Wrap around LED tube style lighting. I like the setup. They work fairly well. Light pattern is good. I will say this though I kinda want to upgrade the projectors to accommodate a good HID setup in the projector lense for the lowbeams. and then keep the good LEDs I have setup in my high beams. But that’s just me.

Yeah, that's why I'm leaning to OEM denali headlights. I think I'm gonna do that and go from there.

These are so much better that OEM and would highly recommend these. This is really a bolt in and plug and play kit. I think I had this done and installed in about 1.5 hours.

This is the route I’m thinking to go as well, now that I’m comfortable with modding my rig and I’m not terrified of modding my headlights now hahaha.
Edit: just so I’m clear, the kit you linked above^ that kit is the bracket AND the projectors? Or just the bracket? I’m wanting the bracket AND the projectors. Lol

Thanks for that connection he seems like a really nice guy waiting on his email invoice for everything that I’m going to need as he’s putting it all together into one order for me!
