Its a cabin temperature aspirator/sensor.
Sometimes they tend to make noise when they are going bad, or get clogged with dust/dirt.
Try a can of compressed air (like the one for computer keyboards), or go to you nearest car detail shop and have them blow air into it for like 5 seconds, if the noise continues, buy a new one, its cheap.

So if I disconnect it cuz it was making a noise, would that explain why my interior temp gets really warm even when the heater is set to 60 Degrees?

Also, they can just track you by watching which cell towers your mobile is pinging. Don't bother taking the battery out; it still pings cell towers solely for this purpose.

I pulled the circular piece inside the sensor but then I noticed it starting to get really hot inside the car.
I guess I need to put the piece back in cuz it get pretty hot in the truck now
