My DIC is farked up. :(

When I hit the DIC top button to try and see my mileage and trans temp etc. It doesn't do anything to change the screen. If I sit there and hit the button repeatedly it might start to work randomly then stop again. Do you think it is possible just the switch is shot? I don't know what the other buttons do so I did not mess with them. I need to see my vehicle's stats and I don't want any issues when it goes in for state inspection or I have the oil changed and they can't reset.
