The silverado's/sierra's share the same essential drivetrain parts (engines/transmissions) and many other components as the 07+ nnbs tahoe's yukon's suburbans, etc so any known issue's with the motors/trans of similar years will also apply to the trucks.

ya ive done some poking already most engine posts are relating to the 5.3 and the bigger engine not much on the 4.8. regardless most posts regarding engine problems are 200k+ vehicles.

4.8 does not have AFM and that year does not have VVT either, more durable! It will have the 4-speed transmission. Dash is different. Oh wait, duh, is it a 2007 Classic (GMT800) or GMT900 NNBS? Either way, good trucks!

the afm not being on the 4.8 i didnt know about. its not listed as the classic but they have only had it listed for 4 days and its at a ford stealership so ill have more details when i go look at it. 07 with 114k on the clock be stupid to not atleast go take a look since its also literally on my way home. big dealership in my area they actually combined 3 of thier dealerships into one big location. we have also bought 3 vehicles from them already well one of the 3 they moved into 1. your always going to have issues with dealerships and this ones no different but theres only 3 or 4 people i deal with there. if i have a problem i just go see them and the problem is solved. when i got my accord it was part of the deal to repaint the front bumper. salesman kept trying to duck the topic so i went to my guy and told him whats up. car got repainted that day. couple other little situations that they handled with the same speed and care so weve continued to go to them.

both rear wells were so bad i could have poked my finger through without actually touching the wheel well.
Oh yeah. I forget about rust, never see any here unless it’s on a vehicle from that part of the country.

ya there are plenty around here that people had the forethought to coat the wheel wells themselves or just kept them really clean. at 10g i kinda figured it wouldn't be too bad but nope.
