Curious what low beam lights you have and do you have any output shots like against a wall?

Supernova V.3 LED Headlight H11. Excellent light output, plug-n-play installation and, perhaps most important, outstanding beam pattern with sharp cutoff. See full specs at this link:
https://headlightrevolution.com/supernova-v-3-led-headlights-h11-h16-bulbs/

See some photos of output here:
You guys know way more about this than I do, but so far I'm happy with these LEDs.

Here are two unedited images from about 7am this morning. One image shows the headlight beam pattern on my garage door from about 15 ft away (driveway slants a bit), and other image is when I parked at work. I gotta find a clear, white wall sometime....

I'm no expert on headlights or lighting technology but I like these LEDs. Beam cutoff is good, spread is good-----both significantly better than with halogen bulbs. No glare towards pedestrians or other drivers. Much longer & brighter throw.

As good as HID? No. Better than halogen bulbs? Yes, and are 100% plug-n-play.

I know there are projector retrofit kits out there for around $1K, but I'm not spending that on headlights when I can get maybe 80% (??) of that performance for under $150 simply by adding good-quality LED bulbs with integrated drivers. Simple, easy, and not expensive.

Been a while since last mod and/or post here. Life happens.

Finally ordered the Magnaflow 12589 muffler and will install it next week. Looking forward to the deeper tone. Will share a clip after she's up & running.

I have the same one......

In my garage:(

What're you waiting for---Xmas?

In my case, I went back & forth many, many times before getting in gear: keep the stock muffler, go Carven, go Black Widow, stay stock, go Magnaflow 12589, go Magnaflow 12259....lol. What a headcase.

Should be good. Stock standard the 12589 on here.

Thanks brother.

I waffled between 12589 and 12259 for a long time, mostly because I've read lots of comments about people thinking 12589 is too soft/quiet. Ultimately went that route anyway using the logic that my '08 has only 2 cats instead of 3 (?), so the relative volume should do the trick for what I seek.
Fingers crossed.

I've got a knock off 12589 from AP Exhaust and the resonator delete. You for sure won't offend anyone with your exhaust on an early morning. It has adequate sound but I'd call it "tasteful".

Hey just read you're whole thread sorry to hear about your LED fiasco. Did you already get rid of that stuff? Where in VA are you? I'm up around the Nova area and there's a few places that wouldn't give you crap about the LEDs I had HIDs in my tahoe and got it inspected no problem.... well they did try telling my my DRLs had to be white not amber but I proved then wrong with VA state codes. Anyways if you're near Prince William County let me know if you need help with anything

I'm in the greater Chantilly area but the LEDs are sold & gone.

No biggie. I keep things moving forward and don't look back. :)

Have less than 30 minutes of driving time with the Magnaflow 12589 muffler installed, but so far it's about perfect in terms of what I was looking for. Much deeper but only very slightly louder than stock at start-up; deep rolling tones and more volume under light throttle; virtually as calm & quiet as stock at cruising speeds over 45 mph. Makes the Tahoe sound more like a strong, tuned truck----something that only another car/truck guy would always notice.

Good news. The exhaust note our rigs make is important to those of us who like what a V-8 sounds like. It's one of those things that are personal.

Well said. I'm dead-set on this muffler or the cheaper knock-off of it if I can find that brand and model number again.
