i just picked a ‘16 Denali with 30k miles, so it is still under the factory warranty. I want a tune, but should I be worried about any warranty issues?

Thanks

We use every effort to ensure that there is no trace of the tune using GM's current method of tune identification. To date we have not had any warranty issues.

We would tune your vehicle via our AutoCal, the hardware is yours to keep, and you can use it to put the vehicle back to factory settings when you need to.

Does the AutoCal have enough storage to hold all the stock tunes to be able to revert back to stock?

Thanks

Six MB of onboard memory exists on the AutoCal. Each tune file can take anywhere from .5 to 2MB of data, depending on vehicle and controller type.

You are able to download your tune files to your computer to free up space on the AutoCal, and upload them when you need them.

I don’t want to make any assumptions here, but are you saying the AutoCal tunes are undetectable? And/or are you saying if I have an AutoCal tune and then need to go in for service/warranty work I can load my factory/stock tune and settings and the dealership will never know the vehicle ECM and TCM ever had a tune on it?
