Haven't really done much, but found a hell of a bargain in Richmond IL for some door panels and speakers:

The video really doesn't do justice for the loudness or quality of everything! I'll try to get a better one eventually.

Right now all 12 speakers are on a single SQ120.4

4 6.5" wired @ 1 ohm on channel 1

4 8" wired @ 1 ohm on channel 2

4 tweets wired @ 1 ohm, bridged on channel 3 + 4

Crossovers are 80hz - 3.15k for the mids, 3.15k+ for tweeters
Sounds amazing!

Wow that sounds great.

Yeah if it wasn't 8 degrees out I would've gone further!

I also got asked politely to leave, because even though it was a school that is on Winter Break, at 2pm in the day when normal people should be working, I was being a nuisance:(

I was honestly contemplating getting rid of my subs because these 8" have such nice midbass.

It's fantastic being able to listen to stuff like EDM / Rock / Metal instead of just bass boosted rap and country lol.

yeah i agree. i always burn MP3 discs and the songs go from oldies and classic rock to country and hip-hop and DnB and House. All over the genre grid haha. Those door panels were a great find!

Since I can never make up my mind, it looks like I'm headed towards another big system.

Couldn't have such nice doors and not have the bass to keep up!

My dad had some Air Lift 1000s he was going to use on his suburban, but never did, lying around that he gifted to me.

The truck sits almost level now, but I still have about 250lbs of batteries and amps to add yet.

I also picked up some junk yard captains' seats for $60 that I'll be putting in

I've been searching everywhere for a Z71 roof rack, but everyone wants $100+, and it's worth about $40 to me lol.

Should have some better videos of the system on Wednesday when it gets warmer and I add the extra stuff.

It look like I can no longer edit the original thread title... anyone know anything about that?
Looks like an awesome jy. Where you gonna put those seats? 2nd row? If so, maybe you should've grabbed the brackets too. Awesome price btw.
That box is HUGE!! What does it weigh? Lol, that basd is insane man!!!
That will def blow your wig back.

Yeah the buckets are a direct swap to the 2nd row.

Takes about 12 minutes to swap from the bench to buckets.

The box isn't too bad, I'd guess it weighs 120lbs? So around 400lbs with subs in it.

Should be pretty neat once I get some real power to it lol.

I can do that.

I figured since it's pretty much the most simple thing in the truck to do, everyone would know how lol.

The things we take for granted sometimes ;)

Today some valuable lessons were learned fellas.

It was 40 and sunny so I set out to swap my seats and start building my battery and amp rack!

Your vehicle might have plastic trim pieces over some of these, which remove with just a normal phillips screwdriver and two screws (I believe) my truck didn't have them.

and then came the fun part:(

I thought all of the '99 - '07 seats were the same, however today I learned that Tahoe and Suburban 2nd rows ARE DIFFERENT.

at the scrapyard I wasn't paying attention and pulled from a Suburban, which due to the longer inside, has different mounts.
