Installed some LEDs in my rear bumper and some tow mirrors with LEDs and running lights.

I would like to get new black projector headlights but haven't found the right deal yet.

Link to that switchback?
I don't have one. Purchased off ebay. They were cheap like $5 a pair. I got the cheap ones because I wasn't sure if I would like it. But I'm super happy on how they look. For these particular lights the white is barely brighter than stock so I will need too add pods soon. Was kind of a trade off, there might be brighter bulbs but I haven't seen any, or looked recently

Just a few of mine from over the years.

True 55w HID Morimoto Mini H1 7.0 projector retrofit, 7" LED bar fog replacements, 21" bar in valence (wired to the fogs), with "HI-7" mod:

Underhood LED strip with hidden switch:

LED mirror courtesy swap (I really like the mod from the first post, though, I think I might do the same!), VLEDs Triton V3 backups in Spyder LED housings, aux under-bumper backups (going to be replacing with brighter and relocating farther under the bumper, out of sight this week), underbody LED pods wired up with courtesy lights:

hey surfer where is your LED strip for your underhood lights? is it only one, in the very front or what? did you fish the wire just under the insulation? thanks...

Yeah, only the one strip at the very front of the hood. And yes, I fished the wires under the insulation and used some sleeving to clean it up a little bit.

From what I remember, I only had to remove it from a few tabs on the driver's side, just enough to feed the wire through. It goes from the led strip up top, under the insulation, then out where you see the black wire at the bottom of the insulation. I ran it through as much stock wiring loom as I could to the fuse box, and pulled + power from the stud under the fuse box shroud. Then you can pull - from any bare metal ground point, I think I used a stock bolt on the firewall. Then I wired in a simple switch mounted on the backside of the fuse box shroud. I'll try to grab some pics tomorrow if I can. Hope that helps.

Don't remember what strip I used, sorry. Amazon or ebay, though.

Only thing not pictured is the wiring under the fuse box, but its really easy. Once you get the cover off, you'll see a bit stud up front.

The wiring goes: + stud -> switch -> through factory loom -> under hood liner -> LED strip. The negative just goes firewall stud -> under hood liner -> LED strip.

wow thanks for the details! I’ve got a tilt switch that I’m going to integrate, but will be following your lead for most of the install. Awesome
