Just had my new GM splash guards delivered. Now I have to get them installed and hope they look good.

Been wondering about adding some, but keep thinking the truck's lines look better without 'em....and trucks are supposed to get/look dirty now & then anyway. ;)

The new style molded guards look much more stylish like they are supposed to be part of the body, unlike the old days when you just bought a flat flap of rubber with Yosemite Sam and his six shooters on them.

They jack up the price for the color matched ones! Probably would have been cheaper to buy the less expensive ones and had them painted but it's nice to have them all ready to be put on.

I dont know if I would trust paint on mine. I dont feel like it would look good or hold paint well.

I have a 2016 Yukon Denali with the retractable running boards. I would like to add mud guards but weathertech.ca says that they will not fit on my truck.

nitehawk. go to page 6 in the exterior section and look at the thread titled "husky mud flaps with retractable step, pics inside". This should work for you. I did it on my 15.5 Tahoe and they worked no problem. I think I even loosened the mounting bolts on my retractable step and slid it back another 1/2 inch. I used GM flaps on the rear. Good luck.

Why did you decide to remove Them?

2 things---Looks, when i bought it i wanted to keep the fenders/doors and quarters clean and liked the look. Then i put a2" level on it and got slightly bigger tires that rubbed a little on full lock and with my plow in the winter i didnt want snow getting caught in front of and behind them. Kinda makes my tires look a little beefier too, imo i like it without
