Good Morning everyone. Now that we have that out of the way, I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I hail from a place called Frederick Maryland and just bought a new to me 2002 Chevy Tahoe. I stumbled across the group while google searching for a couple of fixes and like what I've seen. Im anxious to get some things done and learn a few things about these trucks. I also own a 2002 Silverado 2500HD RCLB so a lot of what I do for the interior, exterior and electronics will be shared for both trucks. Im pleased to meet you all and look forward to being an active member of the group. Pics of the Tahoe coming later tonight or tomorrow.

This is the 5th or 6th Chevy/GMC ive owned if we dont count the many Saturns. I dont mind all brands. I just have gotten to know the GM family much better than others. My Silverado is a super rare truck in that it has the 8.1L Engine and S6-650 trans with 2wd. Its been just about the best vehicle Ive ever owned up to this point.

As requested, here are pics of the 2500HD. I'm working on getting the Tahoe pic uploaded. Its being a pain in my hind end for some reason. First 2 pics are the original listing I bought it from and the last 2 are more recent pics with most all the mods I've done to her. The only thing that isn't showing right now is I've got the same style wheels in black satin instead of chrome with beefy tires on it. All the rest is the same. I plan to do Amber Fogs and I'll need tow mirrors soon.

With 4.10 gears, it sure is good at burning through a tank of fuel. When i got it, the thing had a K&N intake. I put on a Diablosport pocket tuner and the rest is mostly maintenance. The last time it was on the Dyno, it had 298 HP and 420 TQ at the wheels with probably a few more to give but i had a governor on it. It has 170k on it and the motor has never been open aside from plugs, wires and to clean up the throttle body. That many miles and it still pulls like its scared of something behind you. The most fun part of it is that its a manual trans with tons of torque.
