Yeah I will give it a try. Bought it new and this is my 4th Tahoe form the same dealership. Previously had an 06, 08, 14, and then this 16.

Well its comforting to know I can find a replacement if need be. Found part #23423820 if I want to replace the cushion cover down the road.

Another way to fix it permanently is to go to an auto upholstery shop. They would advise installing leather there instead of vinyl. Also, they can tell you if they can match the color exactly. Those shops are experts and often not as expensive as you would expect.

That's some bad wear for a truck that young. My 2002 seat starting tearing where the leather and vinyl meet but that was after 12 years and 200k. As I plan on keeping my 2016 for at least 10 years, I'm planning on buying a new driver seat and center console and store it cause they do wear out at some point.

I got screwed with my 2002 Denali cause they only made that seat configuration for two years and couldn't find a replacement.
