different wheels...

stockers can run 285's with little to no fender trimming, may need a 1" crank of the T-bars..

My '96 was/is stock, no lift... had 285/75/16's on 16x8 aftermarket wheels with 1" less backspacing than stock, they stuck out 2" further than the stock 16x7 wheels with 265's.... had to cut the front fender so they wouldn't rub, and clearanced the front bumper and valance.

I have 285s on aftermarket 16s (had the same tires on my stocks) I haven't had any problems. the only time it rubs is if I turn it all the way right or left and back up fast.

Good read. Gonna be putting some 285/75/16 BFG All-terrains on some aftermarket wheels. Gonna opt for a 3 inch body lift a little bit later tho
