Wa-wa-wa sound from tires

Every time I see this thread title, I hear Bloodhound Gang- "Do you even know what a Wawa is..."

To stay on subject, I'm gonna guess that this wa-wa is worn U-joints or something in the rear end (ring and pinion?).

The front CV boot has been broken for a year, I think that is what it is. As for the tires, they are Michelins, they do have 60,000 miles on them but the tread looks good, easily make it through the summer. I just don't want to spend the $100 for another front drive axle right now. It is not really loud.
