Is it possible to adjust the tune so that the cruise control has a wider tolerance band on it? I tow a lot, and when going up small inclines over rolling hills (basically the whole great plains), I would prefer to be able to set the cruise, and the vehicle not downshift when it slows down 2-3 MPG. Could I widen that band to maybe 10 MPH? That way the trans will not shift as much and it should better on gas mileage for the rolling type of hills.

Thanks,

Dale

No.

Cruise control attempts to maintain a specific speed. If it allowed a 10mph drop in speed, why even use it at all?
