Thinking about a 6.0 swap. What do i Need??

You find one for 600-1300 it's gonna have some mileage on it maybe 98,000-140,000.. So then you gotta rebuild check the block it'll add up quick...just putting all things in mind I'm a fan of 6.0's but I think it's better to spend the cash an as new a motor you can rather than buy one at 115,000 miles + and have to buy a bunch of new parts and cost the same amount in the long run... Would a LS3 be a direct swap as well?

i would say a LS3 is a direct swap. I guess we have our own opinions, Im about to purchase another 6.0 just to build that one up for when I change out this one. Ill prob make that one some sorta stroger or 418.

Well I'm just thinking you need a motor and a trans to handle it both should be rebuilt if used and then the dough to mod it as well for I'm 19 so it not like I'm making a salary or wage where this would be an easy task to pay off haha not different opinions just positions..

$1000 motor, $800 heads, $200 intake, $300-$350 cam, and youre well over 500 hp. heres the same setup with a 850 carb and longtubes and it hits 551hp/464tq.
