Sunroof doesn't auto-open 100%

When I press the open button in my 2013 Suburban the sunroof auto opens with about 4" of travel left. I have to press the button again to get it open 100%. It has always been like this. Is that normal? If not, how do I fix it?

Mine does it, 13 hoe, normal.... i think, ill check when i get home later

Mine does this and I don't see why. I thought it was a wind noise thing, but I can't tell any difference with it at it's stopping point or all the way open. I've listened at various cruising speeds and i have a pretty good ear for things like this. Beyond that, I'm stumped.
