2020 GMC Yukon XL DenaliI
've received an occasional error on the dash "Rear Access Open" - when I open the back glass and then close it. It also doesn't always clearly close, requiring a slam.
I took it to the local GMC dealer whom diagnosed it as a failed latch and "recplaced" the latch, after a 3 month delay on the part.
It's still doing the same, except now the interior lights don't come on when I open either the rear hatch or glass. All worked fine before.
Any ideas? Ran out of warranty while waiting for the part to come in, and I don't have much stomach for dealing with that dealer anymore.
