Bad gas mileage? Haha my Tahoe gets like 12 so diesel def won't be worse. The new diesels get like 18 with lift and everything if u get the right stuff. I had a 2007 F250 with 8" lift an 38s an I really miss it cause it was so powerful an fun to drive

True true, in Atlanta Its like 3.60 for gas and 3.85 for diesel

Just keep that tahoe with you as you love it.........use f150 for your works......problem solved!!:)

Keep the Hoe unless you want to buy an older diesel. The new ones seem to get horrible mileage, plus egr and DEF.
ACtually, if he is looking at a BRAND new King Ranch 250 then they get like 21mpg on the highway from the factory.

OP, you are talking about a HUGE difference in price! Your talking about maybe getting $30k at most for your tahoe and then buying a $65k+ truck (King Ranch 250). If you can afford that, then go for the diesel! Those new ones are bad, I have driven a couple and man are they fast for how big they are!

8" on 40s? Really? Necessary? TERRIBLE mileage, regardless of the diesel or not. Spending all that money right before going to school, I would rather save it and have a better time your freshmen year!
