Pioneer avh-p3400bh loudness

I just recently installed the avh-p3400bh in my 08 tahoe and I noticed I can no longer turn my music up as loud because the speakers start to sound bad. I have the bose speakers, and the sound quality and loudness was noticeably better with the stock radio installed. I had the pioneer avh-p3400bh installed by crutchfield, so I would like to think they did a good job on the installation. If anyone has any idea how I could make any adjustments to improve the sound that would be great.
