Hey guys, Ive been lurking around the site for a while now, but my wife has finally given the thumbs up to lift her tahoe so I finally decided to join and post!
She has an 09' tahoe 2wd and I want to put at least 6" suspension to run 35's on a 20x10 with 0 to slightly negative offset. I dont mind trimming the bumper and valance. Im not super picky, but since its xmas time Im really just looking for the best deal. I dont care as much about "angles" since this will be a grocery getter only and if I have to replace a balljoint or 2 in 20,000 miles then so be it. So far this is what Ive found:
1. ProComp Stage 1 6" for approx $1600
2. RCX 7.5" for $1,300. A local delaership has a tahoe running this kit but the back sits atleast an inch higher than the front??
3. McGaughy's 7" for $1800

So do you guys have "hookups" to get any of these cheaper or know of better deals on other kits? And of course, if it were you (for your wifes daily driver with a 2 and 4 year old) which would you pick?

Thanks in advance!

Do the mcgauhnys,

And you DO need to worry about angles, just for safety at the very least. Let alone mine when drive near me ?

Don't skimp man , you will regret every second if you do .

thats what I am running on my Silverado. Great kit. Love it. I have their 7" kit with their coilovers set at 9-9.5". Running a 22x12 on a 35 tho. You'll be fine at 7" with a 22x10 and a 35".

I would HIGHLY suggest upgrading the shocks to Bilstein adjustable though. I think they charge $300ish for the upgrade from FTS. But well worth it for the better ride quality.

Only heard great things about the FTS and I wish that was the route I had taken. Also if it's just going to be a grocery-getter you should put some 20x12s on there it would look sweet.

Well I installed the fts kit this weekend and love it. Rides great and has a very slight cali stance. I went with 20x9 Ricky ridge wheels in a black chrome with 325/60 terra grapplers. We love it so far! Here's a couple quick pics...Ill get more once I get the steps back on
