5inch rcx lift on 17s fitment?

alright guys i have a 2008 tahoe 2wd im putting a 5inch rcx lift on it. my question is will i have to run spacers if so what size? rough country states online there kit is recommended for 18" or larger wheels. my wheel and tire specs are 17x9 -6mm offset 4.75 backspace on 285/70/17s. even though roughcountry states that there are many who run that lift with 17s and 33s or 35s. my only thing im trying to figure out is if they will rub on knuckle or something else. also trying to make sure wheels are even with front after lift. thank you

You’ll need atleast 1/4” spacers for the front to clear the uca on stock or no offset wheels

also if I’m not mistaken you’ll need 1.5”-2” spacers in the rear to get them even with the front because the knuckles pushes the front out more
I got 2” in the rear of mine and if I did .5” spacers up front they would be perfect

ok perfect thank you the rough country rep told me 2"spacers for front and back. but that didnt make sense to me since kit already pushes fronts out further

Definitely not
2” spacers in the back and 1/2” up front should be even
I say 2” because I believe you have to trim your wheel studs shorter running 1.5” spacers

even with a -6mm offset?

It might clear the stock arms but any aftermarket arm the tire will likely rub on them without atleast 1/4” to 1/2” spacer up front

Also the 5-6” is essentially the same as the 7.5” so if you wanted to run 35s/37s in the future just throw a 2” leveling kit under the strut or get some lift struts for a 7.5”

The 7.5” is just the 5-6” kit stretched out all components are the same I adjusted mine from 9” to 7.5” down to 5” on my Silverado as she went through her stages…
