Need pics of dash with paint peeled off entirely

After a failed attempt at touching up spots on my grey and shale dash, I'm considering peeling it all off and leaving the top black and the bottom dash shale. it's a scary thought and there's no turning back once I do it. Does anyone have any pics to help me decide?

not upside down anymore. so you want to remove all the paint? the dash will be black, and i know in my 04 denali the tan has tan plastic underneath..

There is black under the grey upper part of the dash on mine. I might just stick a velour custom dash cover on it. It looks hopeless to repair and not sure how stripping it to black will look.

the dash pad comes out really easy and quick on these trucks. you can remove and paint, or remove and take to bodyshop to paint!
