Ok, well, it's running, but not as well as I want. BTW, the part pictured on Summit is not the same as the one they sent. Apparently they just had a bad picture. I didn't have a part number for the part in my regulator, so I was going by the picture. It's different, but I think I've figured out the fuel pressure with the new part.

It's still running super rich, and it's giving me a check engine light, so I think I might have a bad O2 sensor or something. Going to check to see what code it's throwing. Otherwise, the water temp is holding at around 170, and everything seems fine. Just some fine tuning to do.

Closest that I know of to me is Sonoma, and that's a couple hours away. I'll see if I can find one closer, but I probably won't try making a pass until I can rebuild the trans.

It's not going to be anything special, not yet. I'm only running 3 psi of boost, and I don't even have it running right yet. Even after I do, I won't be getting on it too hard until I can at least upgrade the rear and trans. I'm thinking about a TCI rebuild kit, just gotta figure out how much the total rebuild would cost and start saving.

If you do the work yourself it's about $1400, that is about what I am into on my current build.

Really? That much? I hadn't looked too far into it yet, but I had thought it would be mainly one of these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tci-378906/overview/
Then I would add the beast sunshell. Maybe I was overlooking or underthinking somehting somewhere along the way.
What all have you bought? Are you counting your labor time in that too?

I was looking at this thread for some guidance. http://helpwrench.com/forums/showth...uild-Guide-with-Pictures-Tips-Pics-and-Tricks

If you want it to last behind a blown engine yeah that much atleast. :p

There is a newer sunshell out, Sonnax SmartShell, uses thrust bearings before and after it. I used that, I stepped up to AC Delco 5 pinion front and rear planetaries, input housing reinforment kit, rebuild kit with turbolator steels, mixed Alto red plates and Raybestos blue plates, new band, new center support and a few other mods. I was able to reuse my old shift kit and previous mods. I went with a new ACDelco pump, that was a bunch of $$$ too, most times you don't need that, a rebuild of the current one is fine.

I do not count my labor in anything that I do. My time is worthless. :lol2:

So in a moment of what I can only describe as pure automotive idiocy, I made a mistake. I accidentally switched some vacuum lines. My EGR soleniod was hooked to the manifold adapter, and the MAP sensor was hooked to the throttle body. Switched those, and it runs perfectly. No engine code, doesn't die, smooth as silk.

I'm an idiot.

Anyways, my tensioner pulley is squealing when I first start it. It seems to go away after a while, but I think it's just a bad bearing in there. I looked and it's not rubbing the bracket. Thanks for the help and patience everyone. I will probably post updates here as I still want to put some zerks fittings on and grease those rear bearings.

BTW, Adam, do you know how to drain the oil from the front of this thing? The level is fine, but I don't know how old the oil is and I have a fresh quart of 5w-50 synthetic to swap it.
