I looking into a 03 Chevy Tahoe Z71. It has 107k miles. The dealership is selling it for $14,500. What do you guys think?

What should I look into before purchasing? What can I observe myself by looking at it?

What should I know about the vehicle since it is over 100k miles? Do I need any major maintenance done to it? Take it to a dealership to get serviced?

Any help is much appreciated on this.

03 with 107K for $14.500 seems a bit much.

I agree that $14,500 seems a little high. I was curious though so I looked it up on kbb.com. I have no idea what kind of shape its in or what options, but in "excellent" condition the retail value of a pretty base model 4wd is around $13,500.

I would shop around...

From what I observed from inside out. Inside is really clean. Leather seats are all in one piece, no rips or tears. It rides pretty smooth. No loud noises from the engine. I am trying to find out if it was serviced at 100k.

What else should I pay attention too?

that's not a bad price for here where I live.

I feel I got a good deal on my 01' Tahoe LT leather 4x4
$10,500 with 83K miles

I would have paid more for newer and Z71

no major "Service items"

as with any vehicle, even a well maintained vehicle
the suspensions start to wear out
as well as the weakest part of the tahoe is the auto transmission

In Cali my 2005 Tahoe with 76k 4WD 5.3L Leather $14500

That seems a bit high to me, but it depends on your area.

I just picked up a loaded LT 4x4 with a few more miles that that for 10k (cali truck). It's immaculate for the year and mileage. I think 12k for the one you're looking at is fair and reasonable.
