I have a 2009 GMC Sierra Crew cab with a leveling kit and 33" tires
I get about 13.5 MPG out of it and because my commute is about 70 miles round trip per day 5 days a week
That in turn comes out to about $400 a month not including the running around I do on top of going to work at times it comes out to $500 to $550 a month on gas.

I want a 1996-1999 2 door 2 wheel drive Tahoe
What is everybody getting as far as GPM?
I dont want a car!

Unfortunately mine is gas
A dmax would be the best choice for me but at a $25 to $30,000 with 100k miles its out of the question
I was wanting a cash truck

Maybe move this to the pre-99 section? I get about 13.5 around town and 18 on the highway with my '99 4WD 4door.

i can get 0.07gpm in most cases lately but my lean cruise function on the 411 pcm is not set either. tire size is a bit over stock as well.

nice to see a realistic MPG claim from a diesel. Drives me insane to see people claim 27 +mpg from my dmax, cummins, powerstroke on 44'' 37" lift blowing black smoke on all the prius pos. :sorrysign: for my rant. I just hate how rice diesel has become.

I have a 96 2dr 4x4 and it's pretty much all stock. I generally get between 350 and 400 miles on a 30 gallon tank. So basically 12 to 14 miles to the gallon. I do have somewhat of a heavy foot though. any time you get over 70mph in these vehicles you're going to be sucking down some fuel.

Also, I do about 55 miles a day for work and my gas bill is similar to yours.

not always. every vehicle and its condition is different. i would suggest getting a scanguage 2 and use the realtime mpg, avg mpg, load and cost per mile readings to try different speeds on the same trip to find out what your vehicle is running most efficient at and hope speed limits allow that speed.
